Folytatódik Bősze Ádám és László Ferenc közös kortárskereső sorozata. A Páratlan párok új évada ezúttal az operett nagy alkotóinak, kiemelkedő személyiségeinek sorát fogja bemutatni, bebarangolva az operett soknemzetiségű birodalmát és eljutva még e szerteágazó műfaj földrajzi és esztétikai határterületeire is.

Így a hungarikum, illetve monarchikum gyanánt emlegetett bécsi-budapesti operett-tradíció mellett szó esik majd a műfaj másik két meghatározó vonulatáról, vagyis a francia és az angolszász operettről is. Az időben haladva pedig az operett feltűnésétől a műfaj arany- és ezüstkorán át a sorozat elér majd a dzsessz- és a szocialista operettek zsáneréhez, egyszersmind a musical kezdeteihez is.

A magical meeting of two anniversaries on the Müpa Budapest stage: the Talamba Percussion Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a 21st-century arrangement of a piano cycle by Mussorgsky's piano cycle Pictures of an Exhibition as it turns 150 itself: following on the heels of Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Isao Tomita with their versions, they are presenting their own take on the 19th-century masterpiece, this one revised for percussion and electronica, and featuring DJ Bootsie.
After earning tremendous critical and popular acclaim at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, IMA is returning to Müpa Budapest, again playing in a tent set up next to the building.
