This begins Nicolas III's odyssey across the Balkans - accompanied and aided by some Bulgarian folk singers. Directed by Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth, the film is part fun mockumentary, part road movie. And no small part an inner journey for the protagonist, the adventure of finding both his home and himself. An extremely funny one. And no less thought-provoking.
